good afternoon. 1:06pm. I have ambitions, sims ambitions that is! I haven't been able to play it yet due to the fact that I lost my sims3. After canceling two immediate download purchases from the EA store, I have decided to just buy it, even though it is sold out of two walmarts and target. boo

today is my two year anniversary. hip hip hooray
tuesday is my twentieth birthday. hip hip not so hooray

I'm going down the shore tonight until monday afternoon to spend time with my grandparents (fathers day festivities etc)

doritos.

good evening/morning! its 12:28 AM. I keep tasting doritos, and that's not a good thing. I'm drinking DIET root beer, because we have nothing with sugar in the house due to the fact that my step-dad recently found out that he is a diabetic. I've had a pretty interesting day to say the least. I lounged around watching HGTV in my pjs until 3:30, then I finally got dressed and went to my heaven (Ikea) and bought blinds for my room, ate dinner then went out with DB to harass Anjie at the library while she "studied" for her finals. I sure did miss them! the weather is really bogus, my allergies have been brutal, and today I had to dig through my winter clothes. so not awesome, may.

as I mentioned in the post below this one.. I went to visit my grandma in the hospital. she had surgery on her back/spine for some discs or something. I don't know the logistics of the surgery because whenever my grandma explained them, she was hopped up on seven different kinds of medicines. she's in a rehab center for three weeks and she loves it. she's walking! eating! talking! and she just had the surgery a week ago. she's practically back to normal :D

like I said.. life has its ups and downs, but somehow we work through them. I am really blessed to have such great people in my life <3 without them, I wouldn't be where I am today

theres a party at a rich dudes house

I FUCKING MET MITCHELL DAVIS. for those of you who do not know him, he is a youtube god and my idol. it was truly an honor and I hope someday in the near future I can legitimately hang out with him. I know that might seem a little far fetched, but hey, a girl can dream.
also, bamboozle was amazing. I made two purchases, a stheart tank and a wyld stallyns tee. I also found an "epic fail" bracelet on the ground after the motion city mosh. classic.

I love life, even though it has its ups and down.
I'm going to visit my grandma in the hospital tomorrow
<3 goodnight

we are the people

11:03 PM. good evening. it's my last night in my dorm and needless to say I'm a little bummed out. I'm pretty sure everyone is just concerned with themselves, because NO ONE is hanging out with me. thats fine I guess... instead I'm watching music videos and talking to my real friends. the entire place smells like bleach. and I took our curtains down, but forgot the blinds dont close.... sooooooo people can see in. it's going to be awesome waking up tomorrow morning. Lasagna is going to bloom one of her flowers soon, super excited for that. the flower is facing towards the window, it's a real sight to see. I wish I could shower but all of my things are packed away. I'll just be stinky for class tomorrow.

it really sucks that I've grown close to certain people towards the end of the semester. just when its time to leave. typical me. and all my friends from here live a plane ride away in some crazy state.

power-pop.

4:51 PM. good afternoon/evening. I just finished taking my last final! the tribeca film festival is taking over our theater, causing some of the students to get a tad snippy. it rained while we were walking the home stretch. I cannot stop yawning. it's nearing the end of april and we all know what that means.... BAMBOOZLE IS APPROACHING! I don't think I've been more excited to go, then this year. the lineup is not only increasingly better from prior years, it varies with more genres. I must confess that I am actually stoked to see Ke$ha be a hot mess IRL. MGMT, drake, hanson, miss may I, my favorite highway, the maine, foxy shazam, girl talk, matt and kim, motion city, mute math, say anything, devil wears prada, steel train! maybe I'll see, I set my friends on fire, just for shits and gigs. sunday is the day to go! but I already bought my two day pass :/ hopefully they'll be killer merch tents.

this brings back memories of my first bamboozle in like 2006 caught in a mosh pit for boys like girls (ate gravel)...... med tent..... missed cute is what we aim for.... couldn't walk for days.... got beer thrown on me.... met bryce avary, dave melillo and anberlin- acquired autographs from all. MISSED THE JONAS BROTHERS. wtf. I regret my decisions now.

i'll help you break the walls down

10:57 pm. good evening. I know this cd came out over a month ago, but I recently found out about it which saddens me, because if I had known sooner I would have downloaded it.

The Rocket Summer: Of Men and Angels

The Rocket Summer brings back so many memories. I'm feeling a tad nostalgic. being my favorite band all through out high school, I recently drifted from Bryce's soothing voice and into a number of different genres. hearing about this cd not only made me wonder, where the hell has he been since 2007, but if the music has changed at all. the lyrics are still inspirational and beautiful as always, his voice seems more mature and smooth. he doesn't hit too many high raspy notes (screams) like he used too, he's mellowed out. the songs still make me want to dance and are just fun in general. he hasn't lost it. buy this cd, if you haven't already! it's on repeat.

LAST NIGHT: I saw Miike Snow at Webster Hall. my expectations were high, as usual for shows, and they met them. I went to the show with my boyfriend and a suite mate. yesterday was unusually cold for spring time and we didn't know if there was a coat check, so we decided to venture out with only light cardigans on. needless to say we were getting menacing looks and the chills. when we got there we found out that not only was miike snow playing, BUT IT WAS ALSO THE 80'S PROM! glorious.

Delorean
http://www.myspace.com/deloreandanz

this innocent looking band, Delorean, rocked the stage for a good half hour before hand. they reminded me of passion pit. the keyboardist was going nuts and impressed me with his awesome two step and fancy footwork. I was convinced that the lead singer of Miike Snow, Andrew Wyatt, was walking around before the show even started, checking on minor technical things. BUT after the show I not only saw who I thought was Andrew, but the REAL Andrew standing beside him. TWINZ? IMPOSTOR? I was dooped and confused. why would you hire someone who looked just like your lead singer? to throw off the fans? obvs. they stormed the stage with white masks and had an intense light show that could have given someone a seizure. standing on the balcony, I was able to see everything, including people lighting up joints and moshing. they were amazing and played a new diddy not on their original cd. so good :) I loved how they added crazy musical interludes in between songs and extended the songs by five minutes. although I was surprised they didn't play Animal for their encore, they didn't disappoint

kbye.

we still got the taste, dancing on our tongues.

4:01 pm. good afternoon. I'm pretty stoked that I am going to see these crazy d00ds on saturday:

Miike Snow

I'm expecting a pretty legit show despite it being at webster hall- sketchmo central. if I see one guido, I'll vomit. also it's pretty ironic that I made the title of this entry a song from the wild beasts, and not miike snow. gotchyaaaaaaaa! byah!

now if I see this, I'll totally do it
